GiftSite asks for your VAT number during the sign up process but allows you create a website without this information.
It could be that you didn’t have it to hand or that you weren’t registered for VAT at the time you signed up. Either way, you now have a VAT number and would like to put this on record and ensue that your website is configured to charge VAT to your customers.
In the GiftSite dashboard scroll down to the INFORMATION block and click on Store settings.
At the bottom of the Store settings page you will find an empty field in which you can enter your VAT number. Hit save and your VAT number will be stored against your account.
Should you want to change your VAT number or deregister for VAT and remove your VAT number entirely, you will have to email support with your request.
